What is NutriHume? NutriHume, is a natural mined feed mineral containing humic substances. NutriHume is derived from a naturally occurring organic mineral complex, known as Humate, formed in the earth over millions of years by the decomposition of organic material. |
What are Humates?
The principal active components of Humate are two groups of complex carbon-based organic acids - Humic acid and Fulvic acid. These are natural organic carbon compounds with large hydro carbon molecular structure. They have extremely high ion exchange capacity and possess the ability to naturally chelate inorganic trace elements and to enhance nitrogen absorption and improve the efficiency of protein utilization by the animal. What will NutriHume do for my cows? NutriHume has been found to have beneficial effects on the intestinal function of livestock, leading to increased feed digestion and utilization, greater resistance to disease and a consequent overall improvement in animal health. NutriHume also has the effect of improving dry matter intake and feed conversion efficiency as a result of rumen buffering and increased microbial activity in the cows rumen. The Science behind Humates? |
The science is interesting, with more and more beneficial effects emerging. NutriHume increases the bio-availability of a wide range of nutrients including vitamins and minerals. NutriHume also increases the activity of enzyme systems within the animals body. Fulvic acid is one of the most powerful anti-oxidants and scavengers of free- radicals none to man. In addition NutriHume has been shown to be a very effective mycotoxin binder capable of binding over 90% of aflatoxin. |

Does NutriHume really
work?
NutriHume is 100% natural, is derived from the highest quality Humates and represents the culmination of years of research and development alongside major US universities and UK research establishments. |
Will NutriHume improve herd health? The Humic and Fulvic organic acids present within NutriHume have a number of benefits for animal health which, in dairy cows can translate to improvements in milk yield, body condition, immune response and stress resistance. |
Trial Data Trial data has demonstrated many benefits of NutriHume in dairy cows. Herds with NutriHume in their ration at the rate of 50 gram per cow per day, have recorded consistent milk yield increases of at least a litre per cow per day and in some instances considerably more. |
| NutriHume potential benefits emerging from UK dairy trials: | |
* Elevated feed conversion efficiency * Increased milk yield (up to 1.5 litres) * Enhanced disease resistance – reduced Somatic Cell Count * Increased milk yield in dairy cattle * Increased dry matter intakes * Enhanced efficiency of nitrogen utilization * Reduced dietary protein requirement and reduction in feed costs * General improvement in health * Enhanced fertility and fewer foot problems * Improved immune status * Reduced somatic cell count * NutriHume is a powerful Mycotoxin binder * Reduced losses of methane (-30%) and ammonia (-50%) * Improved Nitrogen retention in slurry * Potentially significant financial gains for dairy farmers |
NutriHume has the potential to improve performance, animal health, dairy cow fertility, feed conversion efficiency and profitability on UK dairy farms |
